How to request deletion of your account and data, what is erased, and what we must retain.

DELETE YOUR TABLEPORT ACCOUNT

This page explains how to request deletion of your TablePort account and the personal data associated with it, and what happens to that data afterwards. It applies to the TablePort app and to your account on tableport.io.

How to request deletion

You can delete your account directly, at any time — no need to email us or wait for support.

  1. Sign in to your TablePort account, in the app or on the web.
  2. Go to your profile, open Account settings, and choose Delete my account.
  3. Confirm, and we email you a confirmation link.
  4. Open that email and click Confirm account deletion. The link is single-use and expires for your security.

That's it — the deletion runs immediately and you are signed out across every device.

Can't sign in? Email [email protected] from the address on your account and we will verify your identity and action the request. We respond within 30 days, in line with UK GDPR.

What is deleted

When deletion completes, we permanently erase:

  • Your name, email address, phone number, and any saved mailing addresses.
  • Your saved payment methods (card details are held by our processor, Stripe — we never store full card numbers, and the tokens are removed).
  • Your dining preferences, dietary notes, and allergy information.
  • Your memberships and profile at every TablePort restaurant, which are anonymised so you can no longer be identified.
  • Your TablePort login. The account cannot be recovered.

What is kept, and for how long

A small amount of data is retained because the law requires it, never for marketing:

  • Transaction and order records are kept in anonymised form (stripped of anything that identifies you) for 6 years, to meet UK tax and accounting retention obligations. After this period they are deleted.
  • Fraud, security, and abuse logs, where we have a legal obligation or legitimate interest to retain them, are kept only as long as necessary and then deleted.

We do not keep your contact details, payment instruments, or marketing profile beyond the deletion described above.
